CV

I studied English Literature at Christ’s College, Cambridge University and did an Mphil in scriptwriting  at Birmingham University. My films have secured prizes, distribution deals and festival screenings around the world. I have been commissioned by Radio 4 and the Bush Theatre, and the National Theatre. I’m also Artistic Director of SPID (Social Political Independent Direct), who creates high quality community theatre for council estates.

Animated film, has screened in 8 international festivals so far in Italy, Portugal, America and London.

Animated film, has screened in 50 international festivals and won two prizes so far.

Feature film commissioned by the Film Council in collaboration with Transient Film Exchange, screened by the BFI and the LA Femme festival

Theatre

Arthur’s World
Full length play commissioned by the Bush theatre, sold out for a three week run in their Attic space January 2015, published by Oberon

Interactive play which toured London in 2013 and returns for a six week run in September 2014, nominated for an Off West End Theatre Award

Outdoor show which toured the UK after a six week co production with Riverside Studios. Winner of the Independent’s Critic’s Choice

‘Sixteen,’ 2009
Full length site specific play co-produced by the Gate theatre and developed on the National Theatre’s attachment scheme, won the Fringe Report Best Outreach Award

70 minute play commissioned by the Arts Council, co-produced by Riverside Studios

70 minute play co-produced by the ICA and published by Plays International

‘Open House,’ 2005
Full length play co-produced by the Riverside Studios and published by Plays International having won Time Out critic’s choice, sold out and had its run extended
